The History Of our Practice
We are a mobile physiotherapy practice based in Johannesburg, Gauteng.
Alecia Roome Physiotherapist opened their doors for the first time in January 2022.
Meet the AR Physio Team:
Alecia studied a B.Sc. Physiotherapy at the University of the Free State and graduated in 2018. Following her graduation was placed in a small town – Schweizer-Reneke in North West Province for her community service year (which later became 2). Alecia started numerous projects in the community and her main focus was empowering communities with knowledge to ensure their best possible health outcomes. She has since relocated back to Johannesburg and entered into private practice. Alecia is passionate about her patients and always strives to use a holistic approach to enrich their lives and optimise their function.

Samantha Booysens is a B.Sc. Physiotherapy graduate from the University of the Witwatersrand. (ADD COMM SERVE DETAILS) She is passionate about helping her patients improve their function and aims to have them living their most independent lives. Sam is part of the AR physio team in a part time basis, but we hope that in the future her role can grow into a full time position.

Noleen is our practice manager – the heart of the back end of the business. She comes from a strong corporate and administrative background, she strives to make the administrative processes of our practice as smooth and painless as possible.
